Hello! I’m Jake, a documentary photographer based in London/Essex. My documentary work often seeks to explore the connections between objects and people, from abandoned shopping trollies to obsolete phone boxes. I’m drawn to these subjcts because It’s quite easy to overlook everyday objects like these in our day to day lives. However, examining them beyond face value, you begin to see the less obvious connections we have with these objects and ultimately what they tell us about ourselves.

As well as documentary, I also enjoy other genres of photography such as street, landscape, and experimental.
